This is Rich Blackmon, father of current Lane Tech Running Back, Christopher Blackmon, the following Lane Tech Players Played at SIU:

Greg Watson (1981)

In addition, Craig Nash (1980) nose tackle, played at Monmouth (I think I spelled it right) College.

I like the list my son and wife made me aware of it, thanks for keeping our memories alive.  This website is tight!!

I was referred to this site by a friend.  I'm sure it will be a positive conduit for LT alumni.  For the record I played baseball at LT for four years and was All Section and All City my senior year as a outfielder on the City Champ runner up team in 1981.  I attended The University of Illinois at Chicago and played baseball there also, begining in the fall of 1981.

I have knowledge of some others which competed in college and I'll try to get back to you with this info in the near future.
