Lane's novice swimmer summer camp concentrates on improving all swimmers’ strokes: butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle, one week at a time. We use many stroke drills to enhance the swimmers’ strokes and strength, preparing each swimmer for the upcoming season. This camp is a great way to refine freestyle and backstroke and become familiar on how to correctly swim butterfly and breaststroke. Freshmen are given a great opportunity to get a head start meeting the coach and getting familiar with the school.

Ø New - Lane Strength & Conditioning concentrates on improving all swimmers overall strength needed to swim fast and be competitive. All work will be completed out of the water in the gym, hallways, outside, pool deck, &/or weight room. Each day will alternate focus from legs to upper body, with continual focus on core.

Ø Age Group Summer Water Polo Camp- Lane Tech Indians summer water polo camp will be for girls and boys ages 10-14 who want to learn the sport, improve their skills and their overall understanding of the game. The day camp is designed to teach and improve individual skills, water polo fundamentals, and team strategies. The camp will be grouped by age, ability, and prior experience. The camp will be held in the morning and the week will conclude with tournament style play. Any questions, contact Coach Ulmer at CUlmer@cps.edu

Ø High School Water Polo Camp- is for girls and boys students currently in 8th - 11th grade. The camp will focus on individual skills with emphasis on the eggbeater kick, ball handling, passing, shooting and defense as well as an introduction to game play. Games will not be played during this camp. Coached by Reid Strellner.
High School Water Polo Skills Camp Times and Dates
Session 1 A – H.S. Polo Camp June 18 – June 21, 8:30a-10:00a - $35
Session 1 B – H.S. Polo Camp June 25 – June 28, 8:30a-10:00a - $35
Water Polo Game Camp is designed to give athletes the opportunity to develop their skills while enjoying the game of water polo. All campers will receive position specific training, individual and team defensive instruction, and game strategy implementation. Through the instruction and demonstrations, campers will master the fundamentals of the game while competing against other skilled athletes. This camp is open to all current 8th - 11th grade students. Participants will be grouped by age, ability, and prior experience for the games. Coached by Reid Strellner.
