New ITTCA Blog

Defending class 2A state champion in the 100 meter hurdles and 400 meter (both state record times) Shamier Little(jr), picture courtesy of the new ITTCA blog. Little, by herself scored 27 points to lead Lindblon to a 6th place state finish.

Jones College Prep Cross Country Website Added to Links Page

While the boys get most of the attention, Jones College Prep girls finished better than the boys at cross country sectionals (3rd vs 5th) and state (18th vs 19th).

MaxPreps.com Added to Links Page

MaxPreps.com one of the best national websites I found out there that has great local content. I use it to find rosters, schedules, etc.

National Underclassmen Combine website added to links page

James Adeyanju (jr, class of 2011) of Defensive End from Curie (scout.com photo) is starting to get some serious attention from colleges due to his performance at football combines like the National Underclassmen Combine.

CPS Elementary Football Web Site Added to Links Page

Marcellus Ellis (6-4, 290lb, lineman, class of 2014) of the Wolfpack from CPS Youth football.

I added the CPS elementary school football web site to the links page. It is still raw, but hey it's a start.

The New Kids on the Block - HarlanTrack.com added to Links Page

For the last several years, the main conversations regarding Public League boys track revolved around a few schools: Lane Tech, Mather, Morgan Park, and Whitney Young. However, this year Harlan has forced itself in the conversation due to it's performance on the field.

Inaugural IHSA state bass sectional tournament starts April 24, 2009 at desginated lakes across Illinois.

Taft and Simeon High Schools are the only CPS schools participating at the first state Bass Tournament.
