The 2nd leg of Fenger's 4x100 relay team. Fenger looked strong in sprints today. Fenger's Shavell Lucas took 1st in the 100 and 200; Fenger finished 1-4 in the 100, 1-2 in the 200, 1st in the 4x100, and would have finished high in the 4x200 if it were not for a DQ.

Thriller Homecoming Game - Lane Tech 37, Whitney Young 14
Louis Pasat-Trinca (sr- DE- 6-3; 240lbs) hits Whitney Young quarterback Terry Baggett (jr) just as he throws the football. In the center is Gregory Walker (#55, sr). Lane harassed the Baggett the entire day -limiting Whitney Young to only a couple first downs. Their only offensive touchdown came on a tipped pass in the 37-14 Lane Tech win over Whitney Young.
Whitney Young quarterback Terry Baggett about to take a snap. Baggett -only a junior is probably Whitney Young's best athlete. He showed great athleticism with his feet and could develop into something greater by next year.
In this play, Lane Tech running back Thaddeus Scott (sr #36) is stopped by two Whitney Young defenders. Scott was not stopped too often as he ran for 267 yards and scored 4 touchdowns. Almost every offensive play was a hand off to Scott. I can't blame the coaches, Scott ran wild today.

On August 30, 2008 Lane Tech and Fenwick played a varsity football game at Soldier Field in a varsity football game.
