I believe these comments are exactly why Neil stopped covering girls sports. People keep saying shit that they shouldn't on this blog. All these fucking pussies keep making vulgar comments about girls they don't know and then people get upset and then Neil has to censor his blog which he hates doing. In my life I haven't seen that many outright assholes, but given that nobody can see who is posting, these fucking PUSSIES take advantage of the situation. Neil is Neil and he is not going to change. That is your first mistake about your reply. This blog has been around for a while and basically it's been the same format since the start.
2) NOBODY wants to moderate comments. That takes lots and lots of time. People have lives and this is just a small part of his life. If you think for a second that he wants to babysit comments for the life of this blog, you are not living in a practical world.
3) I disagree with you about the boys versus girls comments. The comments attacking the girls are more vulgar and personal. They are sexist at times. Nobody including teammates, parents and coaches want to see that. They will complain when they attack the girls. That is my point. I don't think he wants to deal with all the complaining and censoring. It is just natural that people will protect the girls...I do. It really drives me bananas when it happens because I know the girls coverage is what is going to suffer.
