He hit the qualifying mark of 6:22 by running 6:19.32. He will now compete in Bloomington In this weekend against athletes 19 and under. Many of the athletes of this level have finished their freshman year of college. So, the competition level will be excellent if not superb. The top 2 or 3 will earn trips to Barcelona, Spain for the world jr championshis next month.
