I don't know who Matt Rome is but he didn't run. Sprinters, Abreu, Guerra and the big distance guns didn't run like Timlin, Beltran, Perez, Burbano among others.

Brooks at their absolute best is no where near Lane at their best.

I noticed that you was at Fenton HS for the indoor track meet on Tuesday. Down in the other gym two CPS wrestling teams was competing to go downstate. Bowen defeated King for the quarterfinal spot for Team State. I know it wasn't important for you cover the match because it wasn't Max and his fellow Indians. Show other schools some love. I know it is a blog, but when you are using the title of Chicago Public League Sports Blog please reference more teams other than Lane, Taft, Mather, Simeon and Hubbard just to name the most referenced.
