The Lane Tech Indians decided to bring an old college basketball tradition into their gymnasium on Addison and Western Avenue in Chicago Illinois. Lane fans sat in complete silence until the Indians' scored their 10th point during their first annual Silent Night game. This game was played against conference rival Taft High School on a Monday evening in front of a packed house at a school of 4000+ students.
As an alumni who was not there I am proud to see that Lane Spirit is alive in the School of Champions. Way to go to whoever organized this.

After this year Taft graduates their top 2 big men Kevin Siudut and Tim Reamer. 6-7 and 6-5. They make up 50% of teams rebounding and about 40% of scoring. Soph team has no one above 6-4. Current varsity bench is void of quality big men.
I see Taft good next year- top 3 in conference. But unless they find adequate replacement for big guys, I can't see them winning conference next year.
