Can anyone verify the distance. Knowing mather invite is short, three laps of the course should be no more than 2.9 miles. These prs are too great (Melto has never broke 17) for it to be 3 miles.

4800 Meters, around 2.95 miles

In cross country are you suppose to measure course to be 4800 meters or 4827 meters(hence because a full mile is 1609 meter)?

God forbid melto runs a great time, thaT just cant be possible and must mean the course is short. Did you ever think that these teams are peaking at the right time?some people ran great times and others did not.
Posted by: god forbid | October 23, 2011 at 01:58 AM
course was longer 10-15m? per loop. they made the turn longer by mcdonalds. they also had the whole course raked and mowed real short.

@god forbid: this has nothing to do with melto... the mather course has always been short and every time was fast... gulan from von, for example ran near 18 a week ago and ran a 17 flat here

were you there to measure the course? did you bother to see if it was extended or not? we ran it, they extended the back loop and put the finish line further back. Its whatever, you will see our race next week.

Northside girls victory get them a promotion to Class 3A for the next 6 years.

@course not as short: so you are from northside? good to know that you guys go on here to anonymously hype yourselves up
Posted by: ok, northside runner | October 23, 2011 at 11:01 AM
@ok, northside runner, so if gulan ran near 18 min and ran 17 flat at legion that must mean we have to add about 1 min to everyones times right? So the winner of the race ran closer to 16:20 than his actual 15:20. Makes sense, dude your a genius.

top 10 boys were near or just ahead of their season PRs. when grading course accuracy start from the top. any analysis of the performances rather than the course? flores of mather looked good almost getting #1 runners from fenton and st pats.
