I do not have an electronic copy of the March 4th indoor meet of Roosevelt at the Hinsdale Central meet, but I wanted to share some times from the hard copy to update the leaderboard:

Why doesn't Rector do shot put too?
It seems like he's the whole team

Does he do all of these races to catch up or...

Maybe the coach or Neil should have checked the best source of info in sports:

What about DeLasalle's meet on Sat, the 5th. Heard Brian Carter went 6.27sec in the 55m dash.

Hand time. More like 6.6 compared to electronic timing.

Melto's 400 also hand timed so probably a 52.xx still impressive.

Rector will likely throw the shot next meet if he can fit it in between pole vault and high jump. This young man can do it all. Reminds me of Jim Thorpe.

(@short sprint hand times) You are incorrect. According to Athletic.net, the hand time would be adjusted to 6.54.

Ok, it is adjusted to 6.54. But we know about De La Salle and their timers. They are bogus They charge $200 per gender and there were 16 girls and boys teams there Saturday. Do the math. Get FAT!!!
So 6.6 is real.

This is an example of bad coaching in the CPS. STOP RUNNING YOUR BEST RUNNERS IN 3 DISTANCE EVENTS- YOU ARE RUINING THEM.
If their coach keeps this up, Rector will be injured by the end of the season. If he doesn't get injured then he most definitely will not reach his true potential.

You are right, because last year he did 4 events at some meets, and only earned 6th in state and only dropped his 2-mile time by 1-minute. He should probably start tapering now so he can win state.

Did anyone watch laytham?
Was it a high 2:03 or a low 2:03?
Could have easily been a 2:04 then

He will need to run 1:59 to dance at IPTT
