2. Morgan Park (2-1) - (lost to Simeon,article)
- I still feel this is a solid team, despite getting steam rolled by Simeon.
3. Hubbard (3-0) - (beat Kankakee 29-16, article).
A solid victory over suburban team that was 7-3 and made the state playoffs.
4. Robeson (3-0) - (beat Riverside-Brookfield 48-9)
- Robeson looking more impressive every week.
5. Senn (3-0) (beat Lake View 62-8). After Simeon, no team is as big of a roll as Senn. After being picked 4th in conference by a media source, Senn is now #5 in the city after the Big 4.
6. King (2-1) (lost to Crete-Monee 22-0) was down only 7-0 at half versus a good Crete-Monee team.
7. Harlan (2-1)(beat Brooks 43-0 article) - Brooks was Running back Jonathan Stelly who was out with a knee injury. Contrary to reports #1 wideout Trinton Paterson DID play. A 43-0 win opened eyes. Plays King this Thursday.
8. Curie (1-2) (beat Gary West 49-28) - Showdown with Lane next week.
9. Orr (2-1) (beat Lincoln Park 47-0) - Illini-Heartland Conference favorites
10. Lane Tech (2-1) (beat Bogan 33-24 article) - sloppy win over Bogan does not impress anyone. Big game against Curie coming up.
Others: Whitney Young (2-1),Taft (3-0), Dunbar (2-1), Kelvyn Park (2-1) ,
King was in the game. The offensive coridinator seem like he was nervous to call plays, and coach Williams is old has dirt he doesn't know what he's doing anymore, but king has some good players that can win off of talent.
PS: Will anybody apply to be the head coach at king next year?

Simeon is expected to roll through conference play and end the regular season undefeated. It they do they will go into the state playoffs with a #1 seed.
You thought the Simeon Morgan Park game was packed with 7,000? Wait until an undefeated teams plays a 1 loss St. Rita team or an undefeated #1 ranked Wheaton Warrenville South team in the playoffs. That place will be standing room only- people will be turned down at the gates.

If they so big, why don't they play their regular season game in a bigger venue? I'm not talking about a sponsored game that is put on at Soldier field.
Anyway, looks like Simeonhttp://www.maxpreps.com/list/rankings.aspx?ssid=12962347-09a5-472f-9657-920aeaafd78b&state=IL&teamsize=11 has work to do. Here are the overall state rankings by Max Preps. Only Wheaton-Warrenville SOuth has a national ranking at #20:

Put a D*** in you ear and F*** wat yo heard, Simeon will win state.
Better than East St. Louis, better than Wheaton Warrenville South, better than St. Rita.
Nobody can stop the blue machine offense.

There were no doubts about #2 TRINTON Patterson playing. It was stated that he played through an injury.

"Put a D*** in you ear and F*** wat yo heard, Simeon will win state.

This kind of talk makes people hate a team. It's very early in the season, hush that talk about a state title, you sound like an uneducated idiot.

Until someone can hold Simeon for less than 48 points, that statment is true. Simeon has averaged a state leading 51 points per game after 3 games.

The statement is true that they are "Better than East St. Louis, better than Wheaton Warrenville South, better than St. Rita." You are delusional.
I'm not one of those suburban people that come on here to bash city schools, I'm born and bred from the city but statements like this is why we are the laughingstock to the rest of the state.

They barely beat mt. carmel who aren;t that great this year. Definately the best city team in recent history.
