excuse me but my name is daquan SAIN not smith. could you please correct it. thank you

    and im 6"7 386

Sain, work hard, eat well, keep motivated, set a good example to teammates and good things will happen.

Good looking group of athletes. Can't wait to see them develop...if you know what i mean ;)

hey neil stop being such a pussi and leave my comments up.

he's doin it for your protection. No tellin what a 6'7 400lb sasquatch can do to someone.

Word is Medrano is taking track really serious. He did club track in the summer and refused to play football or any other sport int eh fall to concentrate on track.

I wouldn't be surprised if he ran close to 2 minutes in the 800 this year in track. Remember he's a soph.

Little Medrano is great when it comes to track...I call him little because his older brother Joshua has been a huge part of Brooks defense for 3 years now. Both are great athletes

Brooks kids are nice, get good grades, and are generally good people.

What they need is some more mean spirit in them. They need to bring their rougher and more competitive side out there when it comes to other sports besides basketball.

Brooks kids are the ones who were in the top of the class in elementary school. While future Brooks kids were studying, the future Simeon athletes were playin ball all day and improving their game.

Brooks kids are tough enough right now, the schools best athletes are young. Toughness will come in time, but you can never be too smart, being smart only comes with work.

Malik Lee could have made this list, he's a standout too, last leg of the city 4x4 champ and top ten in fr cross country 4th or 6th

    brooks is weak ass hell

Does dequan sain have any quickness ?

    he's 6'7 386.

he's got work on both strength and quickness

good thing is Sain plays on the basketball team so that will help his quickness

because of his size he will get looked at.

he has from now until football camps to get himself in good shape.

Brooks has some facilities problems right now because construction of facilities.
So he has to do lift weight in the cafeteria.

He's gotta keep working hard, layoff of cheesburgers, girls, and other things that distracts every boy and he'll be OK.

Yeah he should lose a good 30 pounds he will still be the biggest guy on the field.

daquain sain is weak he's just really big. i know some talented sopohmores at harlan like demarco gilmore destry cross claude owens samuel anum

dem Harlan sophs are small, not lot's of size. quick but a dime a dozen. Sain get's attention because he's big and a project.

Much like finding a 7'3" player. No matter where he's from Iowa, Nigeria, or Bulgaria, he will get attention to see if a team can work on him to get him in basketball form.

If you are that big, no matter your skills or where you are from everyone will look at you to see of they can develop you.

destry cross and claude owens are pretty big kids from what i have seen

ok so yes i have very big size and i need to work on my quickness but i proved at the morgan park camp and in the simeon game that i can play with anyone in the city and next year the state. and thats a guarantee hard work is my goal this entire off season. so will see next year whos the best.

Our team is working hard this off-season we will all prove were not only some smart kids! Brooks football on the rise
