Ahmad Bradashaw (so)
Ahmad Bradshaw (so) is looking forward to his sophomore year after starting for Brooks at quarterback last year as a freshman. Bradshaw is a talented quarterback from Brooks College Prep. He is listed at 5-7, 157 lbs, but that listing was probably at the beginning of his freshman year. When I met with he he seemed much bigger probably about 170lbs. And as you can see from the picture above he's got some muscle.
"I'm going to get bigger and taller - I'll be over 6 feet and over 200lbs by senior year," said Bradshaw.
Bradshaw had a good freshman year, leading Brooks to a 2nd place Ilini-Heartland conference finish behind champion Orr.
Bradshaw passed for 1016 yards last year with 59 completions on 114 attempts (.518). Bradshaw also has the athleticism to run the ball a little bit, but Brooks running threat comes mainly from running back Jonathan Selly (sr) - who rushed for over 1000 yards averaging over 6 yards a carry.
"I want to improve my passing game. My favorite football player is Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts," added Bradshaw.
Bradshaw and Brooks opening game is against Lindblom on August 28.
