Recruiting is all about momentum and feeling good. So often times greater success starts with a small success. That's why I like to start my day off right with some sort of productive activity. I often times start the day by conducting an interview. That's right a simple interview that I had planned previously. It could be a phone interview or it could be a face to face interview. But I like starting out with a face to face interview. The last thing I wan to do is start the day thinking about the mountain of work I need to do or the number of people I have to call and leave messages. An interview is like a warm-up. It gets me going the first thing in the morning. It serves as an energizer. It serves the purpose of starting the day doing something productive. Then hopefully, the momentum will carry me on the rest of the day.
