What a Precious Metals Panic Looks Like

Most people do not know what a panic situation looks like because they have never experienced it. However, there are many times in relatively recent human history where a panic occured.

Here is the caption from the Met Museum that describes the picture above:

In December 1948, Life magazine sent Cartier-Bresson to China to document the turbulent transition from Kuomintang to Communist rule. This photograph captures the pandemonium incited by the currency crash of that month, when the value of paper money plummeted and the Kuomintang decided to distribute forty grams of gold per person. Thousands waited in line for hours as the police made only a token gesture toward maintaining order, resulting in ten deaths by suffocation. Cartier-Bresson deftly captured the desperation and claustrophobia of the scene by compressing the mass of people within a tight frame as they propelled themselves toward the bank building just beyond the right edge of the picture.

Americans could soon be faced with the real reality, that the dollar could collapse or at least quickly decline. There are a myriad of reasons why this is happening. The uncontrolled debt, monetary policy of the Fed and the US Goverment that is trying to manipulate the free market is actually making it worse, progressive politicians, a US President that does is in over his head on how an economy works, the real estate bubble, world wide Fiat currency, and much more have all contributed to where we are now. Unless we take REAL austerity measures, the United States and maybe the world, will see an economic calamity that the world has never seen. That is when real panic sets in.

Those who foresaw this - and there's still time - will profit immensly from this. Most of the rest could be caught up in panic situations.
